Can I send you my MRI or X-ray for your opinion?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: I totally understand why you might be concerned about your MRI or X-ray results—but here are three things I want you to know:

  1. I’m not qualified to read MRIs or X-rays.

I’m not a radiologist or orthopedic specialist, so I can’t interpret your scans.

  2. Your scan results probably aren’t that useful anyway.

There’s a lot of research showing that MRIs and X-rays often reveal “abnormalities” that have nothing to do with your pain.

  3. Scans can actually be VERY misleading.

Plenty of people have things like labral tears, arthritis, or disc issues on their scans—but feel totally fine. The problem is, once you get a scan, it’s easy for doctors to blame your pain on what they see, even if it’s not the real cause.

My only focus is on improving how your body moves and functions—because that’s where real, lasting change happens.
