Is Healthy Hips helpful for acetabular retroversion?

Acetabular retroversion isn’t exactly the same as FAI, but it falls into the same general category—meaning you're being told you have “abnormally shaped bones” that are supposedly causing your pain or limiting your movement.

But recent research suggests that these so-called abnormalities are often just natural variations—and they’re not strongly linked to hip pain or dysfunction. You can read more about that here.

Personally, I have "degenerated bones" and an arthritis diagnosis, but that hasn’t stopped me from gaining strength, flexibility, and function through focused work on my muscles.

The Healthy Hips program combines self-massage, stretching, and strength training to optimize how your muscles work—so you can reduce pain, increase mobility, and build long-term resilience.
