I feel more numbness and pain with the TOS Fix. Is this normal?
More pain or numbness is not the goal—but it can happen.
That doesn’t automatically mean something is wrong or that the program is bad for you.
What it does mean is: it’s time to investigate and find out why your symptoms are flaring up.
Start by asking:
When do you notice the pain or numbness?
- During workouts?
- After workouts?
- Only with specific exercises?
✅ If symptoms show up after your workout:
Next time you train, pay closer attention during each exercise.
Look for any of the issues below and make adjustments as needed.
✅ If a specific exercise triggers your symptoms:
Here’s what to try:
Check your form
Make sure you’re not compensating with poor posture or losing alignment in your spine or shoulders.
Watch for slouching or collapsing forward.
Reduce intensity
Don’t go all-out. Going too hard or doing too many reps can aggravate symptoms.
Slow is safe. Fast is foolish.
Pause and revisit
If an exercise keeps causing issues—even with good form and lower effort—skip it for two weeks.
Come back to it later and see how your body responds.
Everyone’s body responds differently.
The goal is to move better, not just more—so use your symptoms as feedback, not failure.
